Meet the Company …
Ben Tuma, started Automotive Paint Specialties (APS) in 1977, in the back of an upholstery shop in Bend, Oregon. In February 1990, Ben opened his second store in Salem, Oregon. Throughout the last decade the company has expanded its operations to ten locations, one equipment division and a warehouse in Tangent, Oregon. We specialize in coating for the collision industry, light industrial, commercial fleet and manufacturing. APS is one of the largest paint suppliers in the Northwest. We currently have over sixty employees with a fleet of over forty vehicles to provide expert service, sales and delivery. We are a proud PPG Platinum Plus paint distributor. Our equipment division specializes in spray booths, computerized measuring and frame pulling systems.
